Thank you for sharing this on your own blog! It is such an important message. Situations like this aren’t always avoidable, but as a parent, it is so important to be involved in your children’s lives. I was eighteen at the time, and my parents were very lenient, they just always knew where I was. I have always had a great deal of respect for both of my parents. They are incredible people.
